October 23rd, 2015, at Lake Selmac in Selma, OR Roger Huntington was found dead in a vehicle at a boat ramp. What started off as a suspicious death investigation ended in a murder connected a drug rip.

On August 14, 2016, a traffic stop leads to a sergeant being shot in Gladstone. The suspect takes two employees hostage as he barricades himself in a Subway sandwich shop. SWAT team members and snipers from multiple agencies were called in. 

"Homeless Man Dies of Blunt Force Trauma"

On Saturday, June 27, 2015, the body of Forest Franklin Martin was found wrapped in a sheet near a waste water treatment plant in Coos Bay. Martin, who was homeless, died from blunt force trauma.

On July 13, 2014 Jessica Smith murdered her infant and slashed her teenager’s throat in a Cannon Beach Resort. She abandoned her hotel room and left a note saying she was “opting out of life.” Unfortunately, she chose to end her children’s life first.

Sara Gomez went missing on February 20, 2018. A suspicion leads to a “no body” murder investigation on her ex-boyfriend, Bryan Penner. Before answers of how she died are learned 3 months later when her body is discovered by a hiker, Penner takes his own life.

Larnell Bruce was run down and murdered in an act of hate. This case lead to Oregon’s first hate crime murder conviction in three decades.

"Robbery Leads to Murder"

On December 9, 2016, three teenagers robbed and killed a 20-year-old James “Jimmy” Arrington man in a Gresham park. The murder was part of a plan to rob and seek vengeance after being ripped off.

In September of 2016, Howard Vinge was murdered in his RV and his body was later dumped along U.S. Highway 30 near Astoria. Vinge was betrayed by friends who once live with him.
